POLES SIZE CHART

Ski poles should be chosen to match one’s height (A). A simple formula for this is (A) x 0.7.

Another way to determine the appropriate alpine-skiing pole length is a practical test. To do this, simply flip the ski pole upside down with the grip on the floor and the top of your hand touching the basket (the disc-like object above the tip). If the grips are now on the ground, one’s forearm and upper arm should form a right angle. This accounts for the fact that the ski pole will sink into the ground as far as the basket allows.

The table above shows length orientation values ​​for adults. When in doubt, choose the longer pole length, as the pole shaft can be shortened easily.
